CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Emirates Health Services (EHS) invites mental health professionals, researchers, innovators, and advocates to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the EHS International Mental Health Conference, taking place on October 3-4, 2025 at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, UAE. This year’s conference aims to spotlight groundbreaking ideas and collaborative solutions that address mental health through a futuristic, family-centered lens.
We welcome submissions that reflect the latest research, best practices, innovative interventions, and community-based models that align with the conference objectives and promote transformative change in mental health care.
Mark your calendars and prepare to participate in a significant event dedicated to advancing mental healthcare by sharing your work with a diverse audience of local and international experts, policy makers, academics, and practitioners from across sectors. Accepted abstracts will be featured in poster presentations during the scientific program.

2. Emerging and High-Impact Mental Health Challenges

- Trauma-informed care and stress-related disorders
- Mental health in crisis and high-stress scenarios

3. Lived Experience and Person-Centered Care
- Service user and caregiver involvement in mental health systems
- Recovery-oriented practices and co-production models
- Reducing stigma and discrimination in mental health

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA
All submissions will undergo peer review and evaluation based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference theme
- Completeness of submission with all relevant information
- Clear structure and clarity of content
- Significance to the field of mental health
(Incomplete submissions will be excluded.)
ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS
- Originality: Published or unpublished work, not previously presented in other conferences
- Language: English language must be used.
- Abstract Length: 300 words
- Format: no more than 300 words, formatted in Microsoft Word, and single-spaced, using size 12 Times New Roman font

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Each presenter (mostly the main author) can submit a maximum of two abstracts. The presenting author must register and attend the conference should the submitted abstract/s be accepted.
- It is the responsibility of the presenting author to submit the abstract. They are the main contact whose responsibility it is to communicate with other co-authors.
If your abstract is accepted, presenting authors who are not affiliated with EHS are required to register and complete payment in full by the deadline indicated in the abstract review outcome email. Failure to do so will result in removal of the abstract from the conference program and all related publications. EHS-affiliated staff are exempt from the registration fee.
- All accepted abstracts will be published on site and may appear on the conference website and/or other conference-related materials, and this will not raise any copyright issues.
- A submission as a particular presentation type or theme may be changed to a different type following a review to be accepted and included in the program.
- By submitting the abstract, the presenter consents that this work has not been previously presented in other conferences.
